Salmunn
Open 24/7
Biography

Eldest of three and son to a travelling board game shop owner, Lunn spent most of his early years passing from home to home. Not settling until adolescence in the quiet town of Helmsley, North Yorkshire, where his father opened their first shop. Taking influence from these uprooted years and the solace of the North York Moors, Lunn always felt most at home with the estranged. Lyrical folk and alternative acts had a huge impact on his life. Notes of Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley and Radiohead all weave their way through his music, creating a unique style of alternative folk and progressive-rock that is hard not to be drawn into. Salmunn embodies these qualities to the nth degree; "Let The Horses Run" caught the attention of Warner Music, where it was subsequently recorded and produced by Richard Woodcraft, launching them out of the shade and into the light of the industry. Lunn also runs a coffee shop in Oxfordshire, where he tends an allotment, runs a chess club for the local primary school and hosts acoustic evenings for local residents.
