Natasha Jaffe is a Berlin-based Indie-Classical cellist and composer. She experiments with looping and layering different coats of cello sounds, staying close to the instrument’s innate acoustic qualities. She performs both original songs and covers from many different genres.
Technical rider (equipment needed):Solo: 1 chair and at least 1x electricity, 2sq meters space. Travel costs outside of Berlin will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In the case of travel over 100km from Berlin or late performances with no means of return to Berlin at night, I will require accommodation for the night, in the form of a private room, and one meal. I have a BahnCard 25 and can travel easily by train. Car rental is also possible, to be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Trio or Quartet: 3 or 4 chairs, and 6-8sq meters space. Trio and Quartet can perform acoustically in small rooms, but must be amplified outside (exceptions are possible). We will need a sound system provided on-site but will bring our own microphones. 48v (Phantom Power) should be provided and monitoring in large spaces. Sound system rental is possible but requires extra transportation and rental costs. Without extra equipment, travel by train is preferred. No extra charge within Berlin city limits (except if bringing a sound system). Outside of Berlin: travel costs should be discussed prior to booking and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
