Growing up in Stockholm, Sweden, Nadya Albertsson recently gained her music degree at Aberdeen University and is now based in Berlin. She has performed at jazz festivals including Edinburgh and Aberdeen Jazz festival. She sings great songs ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Erykah Badu and Esperanza Spalding. Her effortlessly beautiful voice has been described as reminiscent of Alice Coltrane. In 2018 she competed in the semi final of the Young Sottish Jazz Musician and opened for Georgina Jackson at the Blue Lamp in Aberdeen.
