How do I sign up?

If you're an artist wishing to be showcased on our platform, send us an email at info@kalabarts.com in order for us to initate the verification process. We will review your application and get back to you!

If you're a client wishing to book talent, feel free tosign up by clicking on "register" on the top right side. Please note, that you can also book talent as a guest if you do not wish to create an account. 

What is an invoice ID?

An invoice ID is a number generated for your reference after every successful booking. A particular invoice ID may include multiple different artists that you have booked  in a single checkout.

Will I be charged any fees for making a booking?

Yes. As a Client placing a booking you will be paying a Service Fee for the usage of the KALAB platform. 

How do I check my booking statuses?

Simply hover the cursor over your profile to activate the drop down bar and click on “Bookings”. This opens up your booking history page where you can access details of bookings that you have placed, including invoice ID, timestamp, artist, and booking statuses.

How do I make a credit/debit card payment?

Click the shopping cart on the top menu bar. After selecting the Artist you want to book, fill in your details which include your name, notification email, contact number and event address. If you are using an account, these details should already be prepopulated for you. Next, review the booking details one last time before clicking “Proceed to payment”. Check the payment details and click “Pay now”. A pop up box would appear so that you can fill in your credit card details. Once the payment is done, you will be redirected back to KALAB’s site.

Are the credit/debit card payments safe?

KALAB does not store nor handle any credit card details on our site. Our PCI level 1 compliant partners hold all your financial data securely; no one can access it, not even us!

How do I know that my online payment is secure?

KALAB uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which ensures that all connections on KALAB’s server remain encrypted. This explains why the website address begins with “https” instead of “http”. Our website and app is secured using a RapidSSL Wildcard Certificate. This ensures all information you send using our app will be encrypted. Please click the “padlock” icon on the web browser for more details on the security certificate. KALAB also does not store any credit card details and payments are processed through Stripe. Our PCI level 1 compliant partners hold all your financial data securely; no one can access it, not even us!

Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?

Yes. Clients may make a cancellation up to 10 days prior to the event and receive a full-refund of the Artist Fee. Any client cancellations less than 10 days prior to the event will result in a 50% refund of the Artist Fee. Last minute cancellations on the day of the event will result in 0% refund. The remaining amount will be given to the artist. In all cases, the Service Fee for the KALAB platform will not be refunded. In the unlikely event of a force majeure, clients may receive a full refund of both, the Artist and Service Fee. Please refer to the cancellation policy in the Terms and Conditions for further details

Are listings available in multiple currencies?

No, unfortunately not. The current default currency on KALAB is CHF, and we do not accept any other currencies at this point in time. You might incur additional charges arising from foreign exchange differences.

Are there any subscription or listing fees for Artists on KALAB?

No. For Artists the service is entirely free! There are no listing fees or subscription fees. 

Why is my listing not published?

If KALAB has not published your listing send an email to info@kalabarts.com and we will look into it right away.
