Born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, ANAHIDE is a swiss-hispano-armenian 23 year-old singer, songwriter, composer and producer. She graduated from Berklee College of Music in December 2017 with a Bachelor in Contemporary Writing and Production, and a minor in Musical Theater Writing. She moved to Los Angeles in February 2018 to pursue a career writing music for TV and Film as well as a performer. Over the past year, she co-wrote "The Wind", which was released on Francesca Crowley's EP in September 2018. She then started an indie-folk band, called "Honey", with Francesca and they performed all over California, as well as Nashville, Boston and New York. ANAHIDE started performing with her own band in July 2018 and released her debut single, "Even If" on October 12th 2018, which was followed by her debut music video which came out on January 21st 2019. Her latest single "Call" was a collaboration with electronic producer Vino. It came out on March 22nd 2019.
ANAHIDE's music is inspired by her multicultural background. She performs with her ukulele or piano, or with a small acoustic band while playing the cajon her indie-pop/folk/fusion as well as adding her own twist to Spanish and French covers.
